Technology decisions, aligned to your business
IT consulting from our team of architects and consultants. We find where your technology spend goes, what it returns and what to do next, then help you get it done, with security and cost control designed in.
Technology should serve the business
Most technology environments grew one project at a time. Systems overlap, costs are hard to trace, and security gets added late. Our team starts from the outcomes your business needs, then designs the technology to deliver them.
What we do
Technology strategy and roadmaps
We align technology investment with business goals. Every initiative gets an owner, a success measure and an operating estimate, and the roadmap shows what to build, buy, modernize or retire.
Architecture
Solution and reference architecture for new initiatives, and reviews of existing designs: data, integration, identity, monitoring, run cost and security. We review against published frameworks such as AWS and Azure Well-Architected.
Cloud and infrastructure
Cloud strategy, migration planning and foundations on the platforms you already run, with hybrid options where data or residency rules require them.
Security and governance
Policy only works when it turns into controls: identity and access, data boundaries, logging and an up-to-date inventory of systems. We design controls people can actually follow, and the governance to keep them current.
Cost optimization
Cloud and software spend is variable, hard to allocate and grows quietly. We attribute cost to teams and workflows, right-size what you run and design cost control in, measured against your own baseline.
Modernization and automation
Modernizing legacy applications and automating workflows, scoped to a clear business outcome. Sometimes the right answer is a simple automation or a retirement, not a rebuild.
AI, where it fits
AI is one service among many. When it fits, we treat it like any other investment: a business case, an owner, an operating estimate and security designed in. For a part-time executive owner of your AI roadmap, see our CAIO program.
How an engagement runs
Assess
We map your current environment, costs and risks, and agree on the outcomes that matter.
Design
A target architecture and a prioritized roadmap, each item with an owner and an operating estimate.
Deliver
We help you execute, directly or alongside your team and integrators, and measure results against the baseline.
How engagements are scoped
Every engagement is scoped and fixed in a written Statement of Work before any work begins. It sets out what is included, who will do the work and how long it runs, so there are no surprises. It starts with a short conversation about your goals, followed by a written proposal for your review.
A fixed-scope assessment of your environment, costs and risks, with a prioritized roadmap. Scoped in your Statement of Work.
Ongoing architecture reviews and cost reporting, with time set per engagement in your Statement of Work.
Deeper hands-on time for a migration, modernization or multi-team rollout. Scoped in your Statement of Work.
The Baseline is credited in full toward a Retainer that starts within 60 days.
Questions
Can you guarantee a specific saving?
No, and be cautious of anyone who does. Savings depend on your workloads, vendors and usage. We apply the levers that fit and measure against your baseline.
We already have a CTO or CIO. Why do we need you?
Your CTO or CIO runs the whole technology environment. We work with them, not around them, and give focused senior time to the strategy, architecture and cost work that usually gets squeezed.
Do you work with our existing vendors and integrators?
Yes. We recommend on fit, not on partner incentives, and hold whoever builds to the agreed architecture. We take no reseller, referral or partner fees.
Start with an assessment, not another project
In a few weeks, you will have a prioritized roadmap and a clear view of your technology spend and risk.
